BOLLINGER COUNTY, Mo (News First) – A male juvenile teenager from Bollinger County was seriously injured after striking a deer with his pickup truck. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 34, a half mile east of ‘B’ Highway when the 17-year-old struck a deer while driving a 1995 Ford F-150. The truck then ran off the road and overturned, throwing the teen from the truck. He received serious injuries and was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
