OLYMPIAN VILLAGE, Mo (News First) – A man from De Soto is dead after crashing a motorcycle in Jefferson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on ‘C-C’ Highway, north of Marathon Drive in Olympian Village when 46-year-old Darrick Stotler lost control of his Kawasaki Ninja 650. He was thrown from the bike and struck his head on the ground. Stotler was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District. Stotler was not wearing a helmet.
