ST LOUIS (News First) – Two baseball teams with similar records square off for three games this weekend at Busch Stadium. The 70-70 Seattle Mariners will take on the 71-69 St. Louis Cardinals. In the American League, the Mariners are 5 and a half games out of the final wildcard playoff position, and the Cardinals, in the National League, are also 5 and a half games out of the final wildcard spot. Game one of the series is Friday night. On the mound for Seattle will be Bryce Miller who has a 10-8 record. The Cards will counter with Erick Fedde who has a record of 8-8.
