DESLOGE, Mo. (News First) – Senior Judge Robin Fulton denied the request to dismiss the case of Desloge Mayor Peter Pasternak vs John Wigger, and Desloge Board of Aldermen in Tuesday’s (September 10th) court hearing. Pasternak stated he believes the ordinance passed in the September 9, 2024, Desloge Board of Aldermen meeting was not passed according to the City and State laws.
Special Attorney for the Desloge Board of Aldermen said his clients are ready to move forward with the impeachment process now that the official ordinance was passed for the impeachment. Pasternak stated he created an amendment to the current petition based on the approval of the ordinance to impeach him after last night’s meeting.
Judge Fulton stated he couldn’t really make a ruling based on the current petition and also dissolved the current temporary restraining order based on the fact the Desloge Board of Aldermen approved the ordinance to impeach Pasternak during last night’s meeting.
Mayor Pasternak said in court he intends to file a new petition.
