CALEDONIA, Mo. (News First) – The school year will already be four weeks old when Friday gets here for the Valley School District in Caledonia. No new educational programs were started up for this 2024-25 school year in the district. However, Superintendent Jason Samples says their goal at Valley is to improve upon programs that are a continuation from one school year to the next.

Superintendent Samples says the big change for the district this year is going to a 4-day school week.

Coming up on Monday evening, September 17th from 6:30 to 7:30 at the junior high/high school cafeteria in Caledonia, the public is invited to a progress meeting on Proposition S projects that are currently happening on campus or may be happening in the future. The public will be welcome to ask any questions to school leaders about those Prop S projects.
