ST FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. (News First) – Two Fredericktown women were injured in a pickup truck accident Wednesday afternoon in St. Francois County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Highway 67, south of Blomeier Road when the left rear tire blew out of a Dodge Dakota being driven by 59-year-old Kathy E. Montgomery. Montgomery lost control of the truck, it traveled off the road edge and overturned. Montgomery was moderately injured and her 83-year-old passenger, Joan Francis received minor injuries. Both were taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington.
