Good day, everyone. I hope you are having a nice week. The weekend is upon us.
It will be a warm one with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Many areas will remain dry.
Tropical Update
If you are traveling to the Gulf of Mexico next week or weekend, then you will want to closely monitor updates.
I am forecasting the development of a tropical system. It is too early to know the exact path and intensity. The probability of development is high.
The GFS model develops the system and brings it northward. One model of many. We don’t trust model specifics this far out. So this is not a forecast. I am simply showing you that models are sniffing out a system.
I will monitor guidance over the coming days.
