JEFFERSON CO., Mo. (News First) – A Desoto woman was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident in Jefferson County yesterday (Mon, Sept 23rd). The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened at Route E, south of Belleville Lane when a 2022 Nissan Pathfinder driven by 59-year-old Tammy Schneidewind ran off the right side of the road and hit trees. Schneidewind was transported to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis via ambulance.
