Paducah, Kentucky (News Release) – The Paducah, Kentucky Police Department are investigating a single vehicle traffic accident that claimed the lives of two motorists.
Saturday afternoon officers responded to a collision in the east bound lanes of I-24 at the 6-4 mile marker.
Several witnesses told officers a motorcycle was traveling at high rate of speed when it left the roadway striking the medium cable barrier. Witnesses further states there were no other vehicles involved in the collision.
The names of the deceased were Brian A. Bledsoe, age 40 of Benton, Kentucky, and passenger Amanda R. Stokes, age 41 of Calvert City, Kentucky.
