Work to begin around 10 p.m.
PADUCAH, Ky. (Sept. 23, 2024) – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a mobile operation along just over a mile of Interstate 24 in McCracken County on Thursday night.
Engineers will be taking core samples from numerous locations along the right lanes I-24 eastbound and westbound between the 16.1 and 17.3 mile points beginning at 10 p.m. The work is scheduled between the U.S. 68 interchange and the McCracken-Marshall County line.
Motorists should anticipate temporary lane blockages during this time. Each location will be blocked for approximately five to ten minutes.
