High water reported
PADUCAH, Ky. (Sept. 28, 2024) – As the remnants of Hurricane Helene makes its way out of the region, some previously flooded roadways have reopened, but with rain still forecast, motorists are urged to use caution, especially in areas that usually see flooding.
While KY 1628 in Carlisle County was just reopened, KY 1462 in Marshall County was just closed due to rising water.
The following roads in D-1 have been impacted by high water:
Carlisle County —
KY 80 is closed due to high water between the 2-3 mm — OPEN
KY 1628 is closed due to high water between the 3-4 mm — OPEN
KY 1820 is closed due to high water between the 2-3 mm
Fulton County —
KY 94 is closed due to high water between the 7.4-10.9 mm — OPEN
KY 94 is closed due to high water between the 23.4-25.5 mm — OPEN
KY 1128 is open with high water between the 4.5-6 mm — OPEN
Marshall County —
KY 1462 is closed due to high water between the 0-1.3 mm.
