One of the biggest and best festivals in Southeast Missouri will take place Saturday in Washington County. The Village of Caledonia will host their annual Pumpkin Festival. Nina Gilliam is one of the festival organizers. She says it always kicks off with a huge parade.

Gilliam says Saturday’s Caledonia Pumpkin Festival will feature all kinds of music.

Saturday’s Caledonia Pumpkin Festival will also feature a Jeep show, the Caledonia Volunteer Fire Department will once again be selling their famous barbecue, the local Masonic Lodge will be having a fish fry, there’s the Something Pumpkin Baking Contest, and you don’t want to miss the other pumpkin contests…pumpkin throwing and the pumpkin pie eating contest.
