On 10/17, 2024 at approximately 11:11 AM, McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies and other emergency services responded to the intersection of Husbands and Clarkline Roads. Paducah 911 Dispatch had received emergency calls stating there had been a two-vehicle collision at the intersection.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Robert Stewart of Paducah, KY, entered Husbands Road from Clarkline Road. As his vehicle entered the roadway, it was struck by a vehicle driven by Kenneth Hill of Boaz, KY. Stewart’s vehicle came to rest on the roadway, but Hill’s vehicle continued off the roadway and ultimately struck a tree.
Kenneth Hill and his two passengers, Diana Hill (Boaz, KY) and Trey Hill (Symsonia, KY), were all transported to a local hospital by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service for incapacitating injuries. Diana Hill was later transferred to an out of state hospital.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Reidland Farley Fire Department, McCracken County Emergency Management, Mercy Regional Ambulance, and Lent’s Towing.
On 10/12/2024 -A McCracken County sheriff’s deputy arrested a Paducah woman on drug-related charges following a traffic stop on Interstate 24 The deputy initiated the stop after observing the driver, Donna Reddin, 64, throw items suspected to be drug paraphernalia from her vehicle near exit 11. During the stop, the deputy found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle and on Reddin’s person.
Reddin was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail. She faces charges of criminal littering, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 10/07/2024 at approximately 10:20PM, A Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a Blue 2016 Cadillac ATS around the area of John Puryear and Oaks Road. The operator was identified as 33-year-old Josiah Fisk from McKenzie, Tennessee. A passenger in the vehicle was identified as 23-year-old Kristin Smith of Hardin, Kentucky.
Through the investigation, deputies located a quantity of Fentanyl pills and Methamphetamine inside of the vehicle. Drug Paraphernalia consistent with Fentanyl and Methamphetamine use was also located.
Both Fisk and Smith were placed under arrest and transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail where they were both lodged for the below charges:

On 10/04/2024 at approximately 12:47AM, A Deputy with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 2007 Kia Sorento on I24 around the 9-mile marker. The vehicle was operated by a 38-year-old male identified as Zakkary Harper from St. Petersburg, Florida.
Through the investigation, Deputies located approximately 14 grams of Cocaine inside of the vehicle that Harper was operating. Harper was arrested and transported to the McCracken County Jail on the following charges below:

Trafficking in Cont. Substance 1st degree, 1st offense (Cocaine) over 4 grams

Over the past week, detectives arrested three people during a drug investigation in McCracken County, KY.
The investigation began when detectives received information alleging that 47-year-old Zeth Kovein was selling Crystal Methamphetamine.
As part of a covert investigation, detectives utilized a cooperating source to contact Kovein on 09/25/24. Kovein agreed to sell an ounce of Methamphetamine, stating that he would have it dropped off a residence located at 3409 Hovekamp Road in McCracken County. The cooperating source contacted 60-year-old Billy Cutrer who lived at the residence and purchased one ounce of Methamphetamine from him.
The investigation revealed that a female, Kendal Terry, would be arriving later to pick up the money and take it to Kovein. Through surveillance detectives observed Terry leaving the area of the residence and conducted a traffic stop on her vehicle. During the stop, detectives located the money used to purchase the Methamphetamine and arrested Terry.
On 09/25/24 detectives located and arrested Billy Cutrer at 3409 Hovekamp Road in McCracken County. A search warrant was also executed at the residence. During the search, detectives located and seized additional Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
On 09/26/24 detectives with the Graves County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation and arrested Zeth Kovein on an outstanding McCracken County warrant for conspiracy to trafficking in Methamphetamine at his residence in Mayfield, KY. Kovein was found in possession of additional Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
All three individuals were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

On 09/23/2024 detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Benton man for drug charges following a traffic stop in McCracken County.
On Monday afternoon detectives were in the Farley area of McCracken County when they observed a vehicle with expired registration plates. The vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Benton Road and Meacham Lane.
Detectives identified the driver of the vehicle as 39-year-old Craig Battoe of Benton, Ky. During the stop, Battoe was found in possession of two baggies of Crystal Methamphetamine, weighing approximately seven (7) grams.
Battoe was arrested and lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.

Charges: No registration plates, trafficking in Methamphetamine 2nd or subsequent offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On September 24th, 2024 our office was contacted by Chief Deputy Stephen Carter of the McCracken County Jail.
He reported to us that narcotics had been located inside the jail and an investigation was conducted.
Their investigation garnished information that a former jail employee, identified as Gage Walker (28) of Mayfield, Kentucky had brought the narcotics into the jail and supplied them to an inmate.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office immediately launched an investigation and located Walker. Walker admitted to bringing narcotics into the jail on numerous occasions in exchange for money from outside sources.
Walker was lodged at the Marshall County Jail and charged with Promoting Contraband – 1st Degree.
This investigation is still ongoing and additional arrests are likely.
