VIBURNUM (News First) – Flu season has arrived once again. The best defense against getting the flu is getting a simple flu shot. Amber Dotson is an R.N. and the Vaccine Clinic Coordinator at Missouri Highlands Healthcare. News First spoke to Amber during Tuesday’s flu shot clinic at Missouri Highlands’ Viburnum location.
And if you missed Tuesday’s flu vaccine clinic in Viburnum, don’t worry, Missouri Highlands has other clinics scheduled at their other clinic locations in southeast Missouri.
The next Missouri Highlands flu shot clinic for the non-insured or under-insured will be October 24th at the Annapolis clinic, October 29th at the Ellington clinic, November 11th at the Eminence clinic, November 14th at the Poplar Bluff clinic and December 3rd at the Van Buren clinic. All clinics will run from 10 until 1. No appointment is needed. It is first come, first serve. Each person who receives the flu vaccine will be awarded a Casey’s General Store $50 gift card.
