On Oct. 10, 2024, at approximately 9:14 p.m., officers were dispatched to a local business regarding an employee making threats to use a firearm at the establishment. Officers made contact with a juvenile employee and began investigating the matter.
Through the investigation, it was learned that the juvenile allegedly told other employees not to come into work, claiming he would come to the business the following day and “shoot the place up.” The juvenile was charged with second-degree terroristic threatening and was taken into custody. He is currently lodged in the McCracken County Detention Center.
