ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, Mo. (News First) – Three people were seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident late Sunday afternoon in St. Francois County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened on southbound Highway 67, just south of ‘J-J’ Highway, located between Valle Mines and St. Francois State Park, when a Kia K5 driven by 25-year-old Shane Durbin of Caseyville, Illinois struck the rear of a 2007 Freightliner Straight Truck driven by 42-year-old Raymund Barnett of Desoto. Three in the Kia were seriously injured including Durbin, 21-year-old Kayla Trolinger of Bonne Terre and 31-year-old Jeremy Fudge of Caseyville. Fudge was flown to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis and the other two were flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
