ST LOUIS (News First) – United States Attorney Sayler Fleming announced Tuesday that Assistant United States Attorneys Hal Goldsmith and Jennifer Roy would lead the efforts concerning the Justice Department’s nationwide Election Day Program for the Nov. 5th general election. Goldsmith and Roy have been appointed to serve as the Eastern District of Missouri District Election Officers. They oversee the district’s handling of Election Day complaints of voting rights concerns, threats of violence to election officials or staff, intimidation, and election fraud.
