We are less than a week away from Election Day. Randy Tolliver is the Junior Vice Commander for V.F.W. District 8. He says all registered voters need to make an appearance at the polls.
“The veterans of foreign wars of the United States strongly encourages each citizen to vote. Whatever your political position is, voting is your right. It’s also your duty as a citizen,” says Tolliver.
You can also take advantage of no-excuse absentee voting that is currently underway. That type of voting will continue all this week, some county clerk offices will be open Saturday morning and absentee voters can cast a ballot the day before the election as well. If you want to vote early, just stop by your county courthouse and find your county clerk’s office. Make sure you bring your I.D. with you.
