FARMINGTON, Mo. (News First) – Come and knock on our door. We’ve been waiting for you. That’s enough for most people to realize that’s the intro to the Three’s Company theme song. That crazy comedy aired for eight seasons on ABC. Candy Hente, the executive director of the Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce, says the chamber is bringing back Three’s Company with a special event just for the ladies.

“We have our Mrs. Roper Romp coming up and this will be a boutique crawl in downtown Farmington. So this is a national phenomenon that’s taking place. You may remember the show threes company and Stanley and Mrs. Roper were characters there. The idea is you dress up like Mrs. Roper, grab the moo moo and the red wig afro and some glasses and come on out. We’ll start at 10 30 at Truman Auditorium with giving an award for the best dressed Mrs. Roper and crown her and have some fun,” Hente shares.

Hente says one lucky shopper could end their Roper Romp with a nice prize.

“Rhonda Hubbard will be there cheering us on, getting us all energized to go out do some shopping. It’s Deer Widow weekend, so the husbands will be out hunting. Come on grab your sister, your daughter, your girlfriend, your best friend and come on out and we’ll do some shopping downtown. We will have a passport for you where if you purchase from five of the different locations, you’ll be entered to win a drawing for a price package valued at over $500,” she adds.

Once again, the Mrs. Roper Romp is Saturday, November 16th and will start at 10:30 at Truman Auditorium in Farmington.
