Lane restriction in place starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday

PADUCAH, Ky. (Nov. 4, 2024) A contractor plans a daytime work zone lane restriction for northbound traffic on U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road in the Lone Oak area of McCracken County starting Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024.

This northbound lane restriction at U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road mile point 7.57 is to allow construction of new curb and gutter for an entrance to a new convenience store at the former Backyard Burgers location.  This is along U.S. 45 near the Mohawk Drive intersection and just north of the KY 3074/Bleich Road intersection in the 2400 Block of Lone Oak Road.

This work zone lane restriction for northbound traffic only is expected to be in place from approximately 7 a.m., CST, Wednesday to about 4 p.m. Friday, weather permitting.  All traffic in this work zone will move to the left-hand or passing lane.

Some minor delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
