WAYNE COUNTY, Mo. (News First) – A man from Perkins, Missouri was injured Monday in a one vehicle accident in Wayne County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on ‘P’ Highway, 7 miles of Arab when a 2006 Buick Ranier driven by a 36-year-old man from Perkins ran off the road, became airborne and struck a tree. The driver was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment. 

Unrelated to this story, but of note as far as News 1st and our news stories on highway accidents. It looks like the Missouri State Highway Patrol has decided to longer provide names of anyone involved in a traffic accident that they investigate. All other information remains, just no names.
