PADUCAH, Ky. (Nov. 6, 2024)  Lane restrictions will continue along U.S. 60/Hinkleville Road/Park Avenue in Paducah next week.

A contractor will be mobilizing to diamond grind the new concrete roadway along the westbound lanes starting on Wednesday, Nov. 13, weather permitting. The project is expected to last multiple days. Once complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride along this roadway.

The lane restrictions on U.S. 60/Hinkleville Road/Park Avenue are between mile point 11 and 11.4 – between Hancock’s of Paducah and Atomic City.

The week of Nov. 18, the contractor plans to move into the eastbound lanes to replace shoulders around the entrance of the Five Star convenience store located at the intersection of U.S. 60 and Friedman Lane. For safety, all eastbound traffic will move to the left-hand or passing lane.

Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and construction personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.

Some minor delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.

Harper Construction, Inc., is the prime contractor.

KYTC District 1 will attempt to provide timely updates on the project.
