FESTUS, Mo. (News First) – Mark your calendar for Friday night, December 6th. That is opening night for what’s becoming a special holiday tradition in Festus. City Administrator Greg Camp tells us about The Lenhard Family Light Show – Christmas Edition.

“We put on the The Lenhard Family Light Show in Crichts Park,” Camps says. “This will be, I believe, the third year for it. Justin, who has a full-time job, works at a car dealership up in St. Louis, programs an LED light show to music and does this full-scale display with some big help from our parks department. And it’s all synchronized to music. It’s so much fun. Bring the kids. You can tune your radio to a certain frequency and listen to the music soundtrack while you watch the light show.”

Friday, December 6th from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. is opening night of the Lenhard Family Light Show at Crites Park in Festus.Organizers say they have added 6 or 7 new songs this year and they have invested in sound quality, making it much more enjoyable to the ears. For the full experience, once you arrive, tune to 99.7 F.M. The light show is free to attend and for complete holiday hours, go to Lenhard Family Light Show on Facebook or check the City of Festus’ website.
