FARMINGTON, Mo. (News First) – A popular fast food restaurant, new to Farmington, had its official ribbon cutting Wednesday, hosted by the Farmington Regional Chamber of Commerce. The new Chick-fil-A, the only one in St. Francois County is located at 941 Valley Creek Drive. Its grand opening is tomorrow (Thursday).
Ken Reeder is the owner-operator of Farmington’s newest restaurant. A news release from the company says Reeder could employ up to 140 full and part-time staff members.
“Chick-fil-A is growing at a rapid rate,” says Reeder during the grand opening. “We’re so excited to be bringing Chick-fil-A Farmington. My hope for Farmington is that Chick-fil-A drives more growth, right? We’ve only been here for a couple months, but we’re loving it so far. We wanna see the city continue to grow, as I’m sure you are. Thanks for being here and supporting us in our endeavor. We’re opening up tomorrow, 6.30 AM, we’re gonna be crazy busy. I hope to see you all, hopefully we don’t cost you much traffic.”
The new Chick-fil-A will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. until 10 p.m.
Chick-fil-A is the third-largest quick-service restaurant company in the U.S. The company’s website says they are known for their freshly prepared food, signature hospitality, and unique franchise model.
The only other Chick-fil-A’s in the News First coverage area are in Arnold and Rolla.
