FARMINGTON, Mo. (News First) – Vandals have done some major destruction to a city park in Farmington. A news release from the City says a large area of the property at Engler Park was recently damaged due to vehicles intentionally off-roading. The Farmington Police Department received a call on Saturday, November 16th, reporting two vehicles creating large ruts on the field. These vehicles were observed on surveillance video and one of the drivers has been identified. The police department is seeking charges against the suspect for property damage. The City of Farmington is also offering a reward of a thousand dollars for information leading to the prosecution of the unknown second driver. The news release says anyone vandalizing City property in Farmington will be prosecuted.
