FARMINGTON, Mo. (News First) – Local teams keep dwindling as the Missouri State High School Football Tournaments are underway. In Class 1 for a district title or a state quarterfinal matchup will feature the 6-5 Crystal City Hornets playing in Perryville against the undefeated 11-0 St. Vincent Indians. That game will kickoff at 7 o’clock Friday night.

In Class 2, the 10-1 Valle Catholic Warriors will be in Bowling Green Saturday for a district title match or a state quarterfinal matchup against the 11-1 Bobcats. That game will kickoff at 2 on Saturday afternoon.

The 11-0 Dexter Bearcats will play for a district title or in a state quarterfinal matchup in Class 3 against  7-5 Lift for Life Academy. This game will kickoff at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon.

In Class 4 for a district football title, the 9-2 Festus Tigers will play the undefeated and 11-0 Gateway Jaguars starting Saturday afternoon at 1 from Gateway Stem High School in St. Louis.

And in Class 6 state quarterfinal action, 9-2 Jackson will be in St. Louis for Friday night matchup. The Indians will face the 8-2 Kirkwood Pioneers. Kickoff is at 7 o’clock Friday night.
