FARMINGTON, Mo. (News First) – The Wolf Creek Fire Protection District and Farmington Fire Department responded to a structure fire with a report that at least one person was trapped in a mobile home on Jacob Lane in Farmington yesterday (Thurs, Nov 21). Firefighters forced their way into the single-wide trailer where they found an occupant inside the door. They immediately began life-saving measures before paramedics arrived. The patient was transported to Parkland Hospital and then flown to St. Louis where they are reported to be in serious but stable condition. The Doe Run, Big River, Park Hills, and Leadington fire departments assisted. Small LP tanks on the deck of the home exploded before the blaze erupted. The fire was contained within 20 minutes and is being investigated by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety.
