PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. (News First) – Two Salem residents were arrested just after midnight early Sunday morning on illegal drug charges in Phelps County. The arrest report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says 29-year-old Brittney M. Mahurin is charged with first-degree trafficking of fentanyl, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, 33-year-old Joshua W. Coffman was charged with second-degree trafficking of fentanyl, possession of meth and four motor vehicle violations. Mahurin and Coffman were taken to the Phelps County Jail on 24-hour holds.
