ST LOUIS – The Missouri Public Service Commission has announced public hearings starting in January of 2025, to receive customer comments in an electric rate case filed by Ameren Missouri. There are in-person and virtual public hearings. Ameren Missouri has filed a rate increase with the PSC that would total approximately $446 million for an approximate increase of 15.49%. For the average residential customer, the proposed increase would be about $17.45 per month. 

The first public meeting is January 21st at 6 p.m. in Cape Girardeau at the Osage Centre, Room 1AB at 1625 North Kingshighway. The hearing starts with a public information/question-and-answer session followed by the P.S.C. receiving testimony from the public. The next meeting will be on January 22nd at 6 p.m. in St. Louis at St. Louis Community College-Forest Park at 5600 Oakland Ave. in the Student Center Cafeteria.
