BUTLER COUNTY, MO (News First) – Two people were injured late Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident in Butler County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened on Highway 67, two miles north of Poplar Bluff when a 2019 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck driven by a 67-year-old woman from Patterson pulled into the path of a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis driven by a 78-year-old woman from Bloomfield. The Bloomfield woman was seriously injured and flown to St. Louis Mercy Hospital. The Patterson woman received moderate injuries. She was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
