STL LOUIS (News First) – The St. Louis Blues barely hung on Sunday night to beat the New York Rangers 3-2 at the Enterprise Center. Pavel Buchnevich put one into the net in the 1st period, his 8th goal of the season. In the 2nd period, Jordan Kyrou’s 13th goal made it 2-0 and then Robert Thomas’ 6th goal about midway through the 2nd gave the Note a 3-0 lead. However, about midways in the 3rd, two Ranger goals made the game a nail-biter but the Blues held on for the win. Blues backup goalie Joel Hofer stopped 26 of 28 shots to get the win in net. The 15-14-3 Blues return to action on home ice Tuesday night against the 20-10-3 New Jersey Devils.
