MADISON COUNTY, MO (News First) – One man is dead and a woman is injured following a one-vehicle accident early Monday morning in Madison County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway 67, three miles south of Fredericktown when a 2023 Nissan Rogue driven by a 43-year-old man from St. Louis ran off the road and overturned, throwing the driver and the 44-year-old female passenger from Bloomington, Minnesota out of the vehicle. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by Madison County Coroner Collin Follis. The passenger received moderate injuries. She was taken to Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis.
