JEFFERSON CITY, MO (News First) – Missouri’s Electoral College members will meet this (Tuesday) afternoon at 2 at the state capitol, in the Senate Lounge, to cast their votes for President and Vice President of the United States. The meeting and subsequent vote of the electors provides the official assignment of Missouri’s 10 electoral votes to the candidates for President and Vice President who received a plurality of the popular vote in Missouri’s November 5th General Election. Each of Missouri’s electors is bound by honor to vote for the winners of the state’s popular vote. The meeting will be livestreamed on the State of Missouri’s Facebook Page.
