CRAWFORD COUNTY, MO (News First) – Two men from Canada were injured in an 18-wheeler accident Monday morning in Crawford County. The accident happened on westbound I-44, about a mile before the Rosati exit, at the 204-mile marker. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2020 Freightliner driven by a 50-year-old man from Orangeville, Ontario ran off the left side of the road, struck the cable barrier, came back onto the interstate and overturned. The driver received moderate injuries, but his passenger, a 58-year-old man from London, Ontario was seriously injured. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Creve Couer while the driver was taken to Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla.
