FARMINGTON, MO (News First) – Three children, including a baby, and three adults, ranging in age 28-51, all received minor to moderate injuries after a two-vehicle accident in St. Francois County on New Year’s Day. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened at 1:30 pm on US 67 Southbound and Blomeir Road when a 2009 Toyota Corolla driven by a 51-year-old female from Farmington attempted to make a left-hand turn from the right lane into the path of a 2012 Chevy Equinox driven by a 28-year-old Farmington woman, causing the vehicles to collide. A female baby under the age of one, a two-year-old male, a 28-year-old female, and a 32-year-old male in the Equinox received minor injuries while a ten-year-old girl in the Equinox received moderate injuries. The driver of the Corolla also received minor injuries. All were taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington.
