PADUCAH, KY (NewsFirst) – In a bid to inspire young minds and foster interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, a special event titled “STEM 4 GIRLS” is set to take place on November 9, 2023, at West Kentucky Community & Technical College in Paducah.

Girls from 5th grade through high school will participate in this engaging and hands-on experience designed to provide insights into the diverse educational pathways available in the dynamic fields of STEM.

According to a Facebook post by the college, the event aims to empower young girls by offering them a firsthand look at the exciting possibilities within STEM disciplines. Through interactive sessions, workshops, and demonstrations, participants will gain valuable knowledge about the various opportunities that STEM education can unlock.

The “STEM 4 GIRLS” gathering is free to attend, thanks to the support of sponsors and organizers committed to promoting STEM education among young women.
