CUSTER COUNTY, COLORADO (NewsFirst) —

A Colorado man has been arrested by the Custer County Sheriff’s Office.

The man is suspected of killing three people and wounding a fourth.  A fifth person escaped.

Hanme K. Clark, 45, is accused of shooting four people Monday.  The shooting occurred in a rural part of Custer County.

Initial reports indicate that a dispute broke out over property lines.

An arrest warrant was issued for Clark Tuesday.  The warrant was for three counts of first-degree murder.

Sheriff Lloyd “Rich” Smith said during a news conference after the announcement of the arrest that Clark was captured shortly before 3 p.m. near Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Smith said officers worked around the clock to catch him.

The shooting happened around 1 p.m. Monday.  Clark opened fire on five people.

Two men and a woman were killed in the mass shooting.  Another woman was injured with a gunshot wound to the chest.  She is expected to survive.  A fifth person escaped the scene without injury, Smith said.

The suspect had been in an argument concerning property lines and easements.

The individuals shot were property owners and their property bordered the suspects, the sheriff said.

The three victims were identified by the Custer County Coroner as Rob Geers, 63, and his wife, Beth Wade Geers, 73, and James Daulton, 58, the sheriff said.
