METROPOLIS, ILLINOIS (NewsFirst) — 911 continues to have issues. The system is working to a limited extent. It is having issues locating where calls are initiating from. Crews continue to work on the system.
A statement on the Metropolis Police Department Meta page read “911 service update. Massac county 911 is functioning with limited capabilities. Verizon wireless customers are still experiencing issues; however 911 calls are being routed to the administrative lines of the sheriff and police departments”
