SCOTT CITY, Mo. (NewsFirst) — A Scott County man faces multiple charges of sex crimes involving a child after an investigation by the Scott City Police Department.
Official documents show that Bruce W. Young, 41, of Oran, Missouri, was charged with two counts of second-degree child molestation, two counts of second-degree statutory sodomy and one count of incest. He is being held without bond.
The charges stem from alleged incidents that occurred between November 2022 and January 2023. The officer leading the investigation responded to a report of sexual assault on Sept. 30.
