STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. (NewsFirst) — Officials are reporting that one person is in custody after a shooting in downtown Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.

The shooting occurred in the 400 block of Market Street. The shooting left two men, including the suspected shooter, in critical condition and a woman wounded Friday morning. All three individuals are in their 30s.

Both police and ambulance services responded to the call.

David Bova, a city official said the incident was isolated and the area is not on lockdown.

Police said the shooting was a “domestic situation.”

Initial reports indicate that three people were shot.

The sheriff’s department said additional information will be released over the coming hours. The condition of the wounded is not yet known.
