JEFFERSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS (NewsFirst) — Last night, at the Mt. Vernon Walmart, members of the Jefferson County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #241 held their annual Night Out with Santa Cop.
Officers took children shopping for clothes and a toy to hopefully make their Christmas a little brighter and happier.
Lodge #241 is made up of officers of the Mt. Vernon Police Department and Deputies and Correctional Officers of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
