On December 21, 2023, at approximately 4:00 PM, deputies conducted a traffic stop on N 12th St. in Murray. The driver, identified as William R. Tubbs, 45 years old, was found to be in possession of illicit drugs. He was subsequently arrested on the following charges:
- Possession of Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine): Classified as a Class D felony.
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
- Possession of Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree (Unspecified Drug).
- Possession of Marijuana.
- No Registration Plate.
- Failure to Produce Insurance Card.
Tubbs was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility.
