PADUCAH, Ky. (December 22, 2023) – Livingston County 911 Dispatch reports an incident has blocked a section of KY 70/Tiline Road near the Tiline community in Livingston County.
Initial reports indicate KY 70 is blocked between about the 9 and 10 mile marker where an incident involving a piece of farm equipment resulted in downed power lines. The power lines reportedly started a number of field fires along the roadway.
KY 70 is blocked roughly from Crouch Store Road through Tiline to the KY 866/Paradise Road intersection to allow firefighters and utility crews to access the area.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet personnel are assisting with closing the roadway.
Estimated duration is unknown.
Motorists may self-detour via KY 2232/Sugar Grove Road and KY 866/Paradise Road.
