PROVIDENCE, KY — Providence Police responded to a residence on Saturday after a juvenile male reported an unknown female inside his house when he woke up. The juvenile confronted the female, who left the scene and was later located by Assistant Chief Heath Martin at the entrance to City Hall.

The female, identified as Sabrina Brown of Caldwell County, was found carrying a Christmas Gift Bag that was determined to have been taken from the residence. The bag contained property belonging to the residence.

Upon further investigation and consultation with the juvenile’s parent, it was revealed that Sabrina was unknown and not welcome at the residence. Sabrina was arrested without incident and lodged in the Webster County Detention Facility.

The stolen property was returned to the owner, while items found inside Sabrina’s residence were returned to her at the jail.
