WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON CST /1 PM EST/ TODAY TO 3 AM CST /4 AM EST/ WEDNESDAY

WHAT: West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

WHERE: Southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky and southeast Missouri.

WHEN: From noon CST /1 PM EST/ Tuesday to 3 AM CST /4 AM EST/ Wednesday.

IMPACTS: Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Heavy rainfall tonight will create saturated soil conditions, so a few uprooted trees cannot be ruled out.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
