BOLLINGER COUNTY, MISSOURI (NewsFirst) — On Friday, March 15th, 2024, law enforcement officials from the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office and Marble Hill Police Department were dispatched to a report of a domestic assault in Marble Hill, Missouri. The reporting party provided information in reference to an eighty-six year old male who had sustained injuries from being assaulted by his son and requested medical services due to those injuries. At the time that information was provided, the suspect was identified as Terry Odom.
As law enforcement officials were responding, Odom fled from the scene. An investigator with the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office observed Odom driving north on Bollinger County Road 500 towards Missouri Highway 34 West.
The investigator then activated their emergency lights and sirens in attempt to apprehend Odom by conducting a traffic stop. Upon doing so, Odom immediately accelerated at a high rate of speed at which time a vehicle pursuit was initiated due to the felony domestic assault. During the vehicle pursuit, Odom fled from the investigator through four different roadways until he lost control of the vehicle on Bollinger County Road 804 and struck a tree.
Once the vehicle came to a stop, the investigator attempted to arrest Odom but Odom continued to resist arrest. The investigator was able to safely arrest Odom and he was placed on a twenty-four hold pending the issuance of a felony arrest warrant.
On Saturday, March 16th, 2024, a felony warrant was issued for Odom’s arrest for the following felony charges with No Bond:
-Domestic Assault 1st Degree-Class A Felony
-Resisting Arrest-Class E Felony
-Resisting Arrest By Fleeing-Class E Felony
-Driving While Revoked-Class E Felony
Odom remains incarcerated at the time of this post.
