Culvert replacement project at 6.5mm delayed until fall
PADUCAH, Ky. (News First) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has postponed a closure of KY 778/Will Jackson Road in northern Trigg County that was expected to start today.
KY 778/Will Jackson Road was to close for about three weeks at mile point 6.5 to allow the Shelly Branch Culvert to be replaced. However, due to debris clean-up required from several rounds of weekend storms, the culvert replacement project is being delayed.
With the coordination required for of delivery and assembly of a pre-fabricated aluminum culvert for the site, it is likely the project will be rescheduled for sometime this fall.
