MURRAY, Ky. (News First) — The Calloway County and Marshall County Drug Task Force arrested a Murray couple on June 11, 2024, around 9 a.m. for numerous drug trafficking charges.
Detectives launched a drug investigation at a residence on Arbor Creek Drive, where they found approximately 30 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 18.5 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine, 14.9 grams of marijuana, and over $20,000 in cash believed to be proceeds of illegal drug trafficking.
Andre V. Chism and Rebecca S. Holmes were arrested in connection with the illegal substances found inside the residence. Chism, who has a history of multiple guilty convictions for trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, was out on parole at the time of his arrest. Both Chism and Holmes were out on bond after being arrested for numerous drug trafficking charges from a Marshall County investigation in October 2023.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrests.
Chism, 46, of Murray, KY, faces charges of:
- Trafficking Methamphetamine (≥ 2 grams), 2nd offense (Class B Felony)
- Trafficking Cocaine (≥ 4 grams), 2nd offense (Class B Felony)
- Trafficking Marijuana, 2nd offense (Class D Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Holmes, 29, of Murray, KY, faces charges of:
- Trafficking Methamphetamine (≥ 2 grams), 1st offense (Class C Felony)
- Trafficking Cocaine (≥ 4 grams), 1st offense (Class C Felony)
- Trafficking Marijuana, 1st offense (Class D Felony)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Both individuals remain in custody as the investigation continues.
