Closure is until further notice
PADUCAH, Ky. (July 5, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has closed a section of KY 2422 in southwestern Graves County.
KY 2422 is closed at the 2.2 mile marker due to a culvert washout northeast of the Water Valley Community. This is along KY 2422 between Kingston Road and the Bard Road/Willard Road intersection.
The culvert was damaged by heavy rain during the overnight hours Thursday. KYTC District 1 Engineers will evaluate the culvert on Monday to determine the extend of repairs required.
There is no marked detour.
KY 2422 is closed at this site until further notice.
