A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on Highway 47 in Bonne Terre early this morning (Wed, Aug 7th). The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 5:45 am when a car hit a person in the road near Jefferson Avenue. Emergency personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. No other information has been provided about the pedestrian or the crash.
